Clone golf clubs - are good enough? One Response Real World

Have you seen the ads. You may have noticed the incredible prices. And you've probably asked: "I'm as good as the brand?" We will be happy to talk about golf club clones, of course, essentially imitations of designer goods you can buy equipment from different sources for dirt cheap. Well, cheap as you try new golf equipment.

But they're so good?

Golf Clubs

Bottom Line

For those of you in a hurry, here are my conclusions (who does not?)

Irons. Buy used golf a lotEquipment on eBay. And you can bet that trying to play virtually everything of interest that passes through my office. Therefore, the question would be prudent: What someone like me - who has access and more or less what I want to put into play - in my golf bag? Answer: The same set of inexpensive clones graphite iron shaft I got from Pinemeadow Golf a few years ago. I'm not kidding.

Drivers and fairway woods. Although no longer in my pocket, my whole experience with theDriver graphite shaft I got from Pinemeadow is good, performance and feel were both satisfied. Corresponding Fairway Woods (3 wood and 5-Wood), both with graphite shafts, performed equally well, but I personally do not how they feel. This is probably due mainly to a solid foundation - set up I prefer the metallic sound different and feel of the Callaway Steelhead and resulting Orlimar Trimetals which usually is in your pocket, a noise, I now feel that I was expectingevery time you swing a wood - and not the Pinemeadows the sound I wanted.

But to be honest, not many. Once again he led as expected. In fact, I once took third place in a tournament with nothing more fairway woods the Pinemeadow as my arms! Stupid I forgot my driver at home and ended with a 3-wood as my driver. Now that I think that was probably a blessing, really, considering how wild I can be in conflict with the driver (my fault, notFlowers). The point is, the fairway woods to their work, and still can - I kept the couple around as a backup or a club on loan.

I think it's important to note that these observations are based on products 'old'. The latest versions of Pinemeadow and other woods can be very good, better than what I saw - the feedback from customers and are very positive comments on their page on it - but I have not personally experienced firsthand.

Hybrid. II can not comment much on both hybrid clone - or even branded ones for that matter. Were not used. My bag is equipped with a wood-7 instead of the typical 3-iron, and this configuration served me very well, at least enough to bother me, not just the hybrids. In all likelihood, I'll jump on the hybrid train soon enough. Until then, I can only say that quality-wise, there is no reason to believe that hybrids will not be cloned at least awith the forest clone manufacturers' offers.

Wedges. Clone Wedges are not in my pocket (I wear it as a gift I received Vokeys Titleist), but I used the classic style of the Cleveland models in particular. Clones are very good clubs and incredible value, I have absolutely no hesitation to recommend how the penalty groped.

Putter. I like to change often and stick to make my money - a few days, for example, inexplicably, I putt better with a 343 instead of a shaft 333,and vice versa, or a couple of days with a hammer just feels better than a traditional knife and so on - and companies like Pinemeadow clone golf club, let me have a whole arsenal of my putter to install. I would not otherwise be able to afford such a "quiver putters" (as my friends call it) with the prices of brands are very popular today. Of course, you can of course do not have to collect this collection of putters, and the point is, the putter well and cheaply clone andalways pays to test.

Read on to learn much more about what I saw said, especially in the realization of the importance of selecting clones of company law, because to buy the boys and girls happens honest, sh * t sometimes.

Where StartedI'm everything literally at the beginning, when I took the game a few years. As a beginner, I wanted to learn and have a better set of a typical departmentstore variety. But man, where the money to Callaway, Ping or Titleist just does not make much sense condemned, not when it is not clear yet if I wanted to stay with the game or not.

So after I do some 'research online and click around, I went with a number of iron Acer Sole Undercut Pinemeadow Golf. Why? Appearance. Hawkeyes looked like the original, and very expensive Callaway. And - and this is important, at least for me -Acer chic even looked presentable, and respectable, something that I'm not ashamed to see offered, unlike many of the hockey club cheese with cosmetics look through other clone manufacturers. (Even today, the choice is up there among the best Pinemeadow sector in the looks department.)

While I was in, I also took the 3-club set of Acer XDS 2 + Stainless Woods (Callaway Hawkeye VFT clones), including a 10-degree driver, 3 wood and 5-wood, andPure rolling-M Series-1 Putter (a clone does not compromise Holzhammer). Standard Pinemeadow Aldila graphite shafts (steel for the putter) and manages the lot. I was a beginner, remember, and he knew almost nothing about everything, so I'm playing basic, safe and cheap. If I end up not liking sports, at least I would not be much.

Same quality? Problems?

Needless to say that now I am addicted to the game, and I do what I can to try to bring this to as low handicapNumber one, as I'm able. I also have a series of activities related courses, as admitted by the sale of golf equipment on eBay.

This means that at least two things: I now have enough on the game not only able to competently assess my performance clone clubs, I also play regularly and test a lot of expensive branded devices so I do not really decent respect and just.

The fact that my Pinemeadow Golf iron is still in my pocket as I writeThis should be a lot of you. It's not that I like to play with the shoe brand - I do. In fact, I have a set of TaylorMade Cleveland and a series of no other reason than I like to play with them from time to time (I do not know how all Cleveland and TaylorMade, mind you, only the specific models that I kept).

The fact is that I do not think better or worse than playing with the Cleveland and TaylorMade Pinemeadows when I was using. The same is true with Callaway, Titleist, Hogan, Mizuno, orother appliances are brand names. My game plays well enough so it should be at my level, no matter which set of clubs I use.

An obvious conclusion: it seems I do not club.

So, if you consider that I see with the way in which the clones, feel and perform, why should I do with the club brand, up to eight times the cost much (or more!) Does'm satisfied, but Another advantage of the game does not offer me over the clones?

Even if we say that there is a slightadditional benefit or advantage to use a mark placed on cloning, we would then ask: Would not it be worth it? Yes, I keep an eye on the good old, such as: benefit ratio and are based solely on what I've seen players at my level (mid-handicapper) or higher, this incremental benefit is not there.

How much better for a player? Thurs handicap down and scratch players recognize the benefits that playing with the clone brands compared to the equipment cost?I'm not well enough to know. But from the feedback Pinemeadow published on the website, it seems more than a few low handicap / scratch players have "discovered" the advantages of a clone.

Do note however that I also had some problems with the stuff I got from Pinemeadow:

"Not long after I had my irons and woods, appeared a couple of plastic bags to be solved. Nothing serious, easily fixed by pinprick drop of glue. ... But

"Within a fewMonths, the plastic sleeve on my 5-iron popped out not only broke but complete. The thing just ripped. Then in a few days, then the bushings on the 3 - and 7-irons (then I tend to play more often odd numbers).

Although, you probably could have done it again with more super glue, I thought that this is now in the realm of the strange, and I was not too happy. So I immediately emailed Pinemeadow. I quickly had the boat all over againtheir costs, including the club with the tips still intact. They said they would fix the clubs, what they did. However, I believe that finally delivered the new replacement clubs, instead of time and effort to disassemble and reassemble all my original clubs to do is set some tips. I have surely seen those new clubs, new, shrunken heads and all. I can not say that this is what they do in every situation, I am only in the context exactly what kind of"Service" that I received.

That was a few years or so. The set has been no problems since.

"After about a year after purchase I noticed something new on the head Acer XDS 2 + driver. Was very clear about a quarter of an inch or so in diameter at the tip of 3 must have happened I thought that if I I send a drive on skis. There seems no influence on the performance of the club as the rest of the shift has gone unnoticed. Pinemeadow My fault is not a quality issue, Icompleted.

But I did mention in an e-mail at Pinemeadow. I wanted to know if this was normal. I was told two things: (a) This was unusual, and (b) I still had some time under my original warranty 1 year left, a benefit that was completely slipped my mind - just two days, in fact - could I send club will be replaced again! Again, this exchange was not cost me a cent out-of-pocket, shipping and all did! Well, this was a pleasant surprise.

"I like thisPinemeadow Golf and Support is an understatement. But I hated her standard attacks, felt cheap to me, and the fact he was wearing and need replacement very quickly - damned if I had a full season playing very casual these attacks - reinforced these findings.

I was not alone with this observation handle. They used to be able to find a lot of negative customer feedback on the site Pinemeadow on the handles. I do not see problems, and I hope that becausePinemeadow has started taking a lot better.

Even then, I say show off a little 'and Pinemeadow you install one of the best options to handle the supply of brand update. The benefits far outweigh the negligible cost of going this route.

Recommendations

It should be clear that I highly recommend Pinemeadow Golf. Great products and prices, and better yet, a service of absolute excellence.

Another place to try is GigaGolf. Do not have a bunch of them, but ... played with a friend and was equally impressed by the quality of their work and low prices recommended without hesitation to try them all on you.
